It has always been celebrated for a very long time, but why is Christmas day celebrated all over the world? Christmas is all about God sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to be born here on Earth and Jesus will reconcile (to reestablish) the close relationship between God and man (us) that was separated by sin. คริสต์มาสเป็นเรื่องเกี่ยวกับพระเจ้าที่ส่งพระบุตรของพระองค์พระเยซูคริสต์ให้เกิดที่นี่บนโลกและพระเยซูจะทรงนำการคืนดีระหว่างมนุษย์กับพระเจ้า (เพื่อสร้างใหม่=นำการคืนดี) ที่ถูกแยกออกจากกันด้วยบาป
If you don’t know Who God is, let’s talk about God first. หากคุณไม่ทราบว่าพระเจ้าคือใครเรามาพูดถึงพระเจ้าก่อน
God is the only one, true, living God.[i] พระเจ้าเป็นองค์เดียวที่ทรงพระชนม์อยู่จริง
God has a mind, emotions, and a will (God thinks and makes it happen).[ii] พระเจ้ามีความคิดอารมณ์และเจตจํานง (พระเจ้าคิดและทําให้มันเกิดขึ้น)
God is spirit (not a ghost).[iii] พระเจ้าคือวิญญาณ พระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์ (ไม่ใช่ผี)
God is holy.[iv] No one or no thing, is in any way, equal, like or greater than God.[v] พระเจ้าทรงบริสุทธิ์ ไม่มีใครหรือไม่มีสิ่งใด หรือหนทางใดเลย ที่จะมาเทียบเท่า หรือจะมาใหญ่กว่าพระเจ้าได้
God is not like something made out of gold or silver or stone, or an image formed by the art and imagination of man.[vi] พระเจ้าไม่เหมือนสิ่งที่ทําจากทองคําหรือเงินหรือหินหรือภาพที่เกิดจากศิลปะและจินตนาการของมนุษย์
God does not live in temples made by man, no need to be maintained by humans. It is God himself Who gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.[vii] พระเจ้าไม่ได้อาศัยอยู่ในพระวิหารที่มนุษย์สร้างขึ้นไม่จําเป็นต้องได้รับการดูแลโดยมนุษย์ พระเจ้าเองทรงมอบให้กับชีวิตและลมหายใจของมนุษยชาติและทุกสิ่ง
God never had a beginning; God has always been. God will always be God forever with no end.[viii] พระเจ้าไม่เคยมีจุดเริ่มต้น พระเจ้าเป็นมาโดยตลอด พระเจ้าจะเป็นพระเจ้าตลอดไปโดยไม่มีจุดสิ้นสุด
God is all powerful.[ix] พระเจ้ามีอำนาจเหนือสรรพสิ่งทั้งปวง ทรงมีอำนาจสูงที่สุด
God does anything He wants to do.[x] พระเจ้าทรงทําทุกอย่างที่พระองค์ทรงประสงค์จะทํา ไม่มีใครจะมาขัดขวางพระเจ้าได้
God is perfectly good.[xi] พระเจ้าดีอย่างสมบูรณ์แบบที่สุด
God is love. Love comes from God! God loves because that is His nature.[xii] พระเจ้าเป็นความรัก ความรักมาจากพระเจ้า! พระเจ้าทรงเป็นความรักเพราะนั่นคือพระลักษณะของพระองค์
God’s love is not based on a feeling of love.[xiii] ความรักของพระเจ้าไม่ได้ขึ้นอยู่กับความรู้สึกหรืออารมณ์ของความรัก
God is just.[xiv] God is a perfect judge and He punishes evil.[xv] พระเจ้าทรงยุติธรรม พระเจ้าทรงเป็นผู้พิพากษาที่สมบูรณ์แบบและพระองค์ทรงลงโทษความชั่วร้าย
God is creator. พระเจ้าทรงเป็นพระผู้สร้าง
God created the universe.[xvi] พระเจ้าทรงสร้างจักรวาล
God made the Earth.[xvii] พระเจ้าทรงสร้างโลก
God made the first man, named Adam, and the first woman, named Eve.[xviii] พระเจ้าทรงสร้างชายคนแรกชื่ออาดัม (ชาย)และผู้หญิงคนแรกชื่อเอวา (หญิง)
And God looked at everything that He had made, and saw that it was very good.[xix] เมื่อพระเจ้าทรงสิ่งที่พระองค์มีเจตจำนงเสร็จแล้ว และพระเจ้าทอดพระเนตรทุกสิ่งเหล่านั้นที่พระองค์ทรงสร้างและเห็นว่ามันดีมาก
God has all power and authority over everything He created including us.[xx] พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงมีอํานาจและสิทธิอํานาจเหนือทุกสิ่งที่พระองค์ทรงสร้างรวมทั้งเราด้วย
The Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.[xxi] ทั่วพื้นแผ่นดินพระเจ้าทรงให้มีความชุ่มชื้นโดยทั่ว และพระเจ้าทรงปั้นมนุษย์จากคลีดินของพื้นดินนั้น และระบายลมปราณหายใจเขาไปในรูจมูกของเขา ชายคนนั้นก็กลายเป็นผู้มีชีวิต
Then God created the woman from the man’s rib; male and female God created them[xxii] (Adam and Eve). จากนั้นพระเจ้าทรงสร้างผู้หญิงจากซี่โครงของผู้ชาย พระเจ้าสร้างพวกเขา (อาดัมและเอวา)
God made the most beautiful garden, named Eden, for Adam and Eve to live in and be happy with God.[xxiii] พระเจ้าทรงสร้างสวนที่สวยที่สุดชื่อเอเดนเพื่อให้อาดัมและเอวาอาศัยอยู่และมีความสุขกับพระเจ้า

God and Adam and Eve shared a special kind of love with each other called agape love. Agape love is the highest, purest, perfect kind of love possible and this was the love that God, Adam and Eve shared in the garden. ความรักของ Agape เป็นความรักที่สูงที่สุดบริสุทธิ์และสมบูรณ์แบบที่สุดเท่าที่จะเป็นไปได้และนี่คือความรักที่พระเจ้าอาดัมและเอวาแบ่งปันในสวน (พระเจ้ารักมนุษย์และมนุษย์ก็รักพระตอบแทน)
Now, in the midst of the garden, was the tree of life, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.[xxvi] ส่วนตรงกลางสวนนั้นมีต้นไม้แห่งชีวิตต้นหนึ่งและต้นไม้แห่งความสำนึกในความดีและความชั่วอีกต้นหนึ่ง
And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, BUT of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you SHALL NOT eat, for in the day that you eat of it YOU SHALL SURELY DIE.”[xxvii] และพระเจ้าจึงทรงบัญชาแก่มนุษย์นั้นว่า "บรรดาผลไม้ทุกอย่างในสวนนี้ เจ้ากินได้ทั้งหมด เว้นแต่ต้นไม้แห่งความสำนึกในความดีและความชั่ว เพราะในวันใดที่เจ้าขืนกิน เจ้าจะต้องตายแน่"
There is an evil angel, named Satan, who hates God and hates us. Satan came to the woman as a snake and lied about what God said. มีทูตสวรรค์ชั่วร้ายเรียกว่าซาตาน ซาตานเกลียดชังพระเจ้าและเกลียดเราด้วยเช่นกัน ซาตานมาหาผู้หญิงคนนั้นในสภาพร่างเป็นงูและโกหกเกี่ยวกับสิ่งที่พระเจ้าตรัส
Now the snake (Satan) was the most cunning animal that the Lord God had made. งู เป็นสัตว์ที่มีไหวพริบที่ฉลาดแกมโกง แคล่วคล่อง มากกว่าในบรรดาสัตว์ทั้งปวงที่พระเจ้าทรงสร้าง
The snake asked the woman, “Did God really tell you, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” งูถามหญิงคนนั้นว่า "จริงหรือ ที่พระเจ้าตรัสห้ามว่า อย่ากินผลไม้จากต้นไม้ใดๆ ในสวนนี้ '
And the woman said to the snake, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, if we do we will die.’ หญิงนั้นตอบงูว่า ผลของต้นไม้ต่างๆ ในสวนนี้เรากินได้ เว้นแต่ผลของต้นไม้ที่อยู่กลางสวนนั้น พระเจ้าตรัสว่า อย่ากิน อย่าแตะต้องมัน มิฉะนั้นจะตาย "
But the snake said to the woman, “You will NOT surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and YOU WILL BE LIKE GOD, knowing good and evil.” แต่งูพูดกับหญิงคนนั้นว่า "เจ้าจะไม่ตายจริงดอก เพราะพระเจ้าทรงทราบอยู่ว่า เจ้ากินผลไม้นั้นวันใด ตาของเจ้าจะสว่างขึ้นในวันนั้น แล้วเจ้าจะเป็นเหมือนพระเจ้า คือสำนึกในความดีและความชั่ว"
So when Eve saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to Adam who was with her, and he ate. เมื่อเอวาคล้อยตามและคิดเห็นว่า ต้นไม้นั้นดูดีน่ากินและอีกทั้งยังเป็นต้นไม้ที่มุ่งหมายจะให้เกิดปัญญา นางจึงเก็บผลไม้จากต้นนั้นมากิน และส่งให้อาดัมกิน อาดัมก็กินด้วย
Then the eyes of Adam and Eve were opened.[xxviii] จากนั้นนัยน์ตาของอาดัมและเอวาก็สว่างขึ้น
Adam and Eve NOW KNEW WHAT IS GOOD AND EVIL because THEY DIDN’T OBEY GOD! ตอนนี้อาดัมและเอวาได้เกิดมีสำนึกรู้ว่าอะไรดีและอะไรชั่ว(ไม่บริสุทธิ์ ไม่สัตย์ซื่อ ไม่ไร้เดียงสา ไม่เชื่อฟังเหมือนแต่ก่อน และตอนนี้มนุษย์ชายหญิงคู่แรกนั้นได้ตกอยู่ในความบาปแล้ว) เพราะพวกเขาไม่เชื่อฟังคำของพระเจ้า!
God cursed Satan and promised to send reconcile Jesus to our relationship with God. God provided proof that we could know Jesus is the One God sends: Jesus would be resurrected to life after He died.[xxix] พระเจ้าสาปแช่งซาตานและสัญญาว่าจะส่งพระเยซูไปคืนดีกับความสัมพันธ์ของเรากับพระเจ้า พระเจ้าให้หลักฐานว่าเราสามารถรู้ว่าพระเยซูคือองค์เดียวที่พระเจ้าส่งมา: พระเยซูจะฟื้นคืนพระชนม์สู่ชีวิตหลังจากพระองค์สิ้นพระชนม์
God is BOTH love AND just. พระเจ้าทรงเป็นทั้งความรักและความยุติธรรม
As we know, God is a perfect judge. อย่างที่พวกเราทราบว่า พระเจ้าทรงเป็นผู้พิพากษาที่เที่ยงตรงยุติธรรมที่สุด
Sinning against God is so great and must have an equally great punishment: death and separation in Hell from God.[xxx] ความบาปอันมหันต์ที่ต่อต้านความรักของพระเจ้านั้น จะต้องมีการลงโทษอันมหันต์เท่าเทียมกันเพื่อการยุติธรรมที่สมบูรณ์: รับโทษขั้นร้ายแรงสุดก็คือความตายและการถูกแยกไปสู่แดนนรกชั่วนิรันดร
The separation. Like a broken branch that fell to the ground from a tree and cannot reattach itself to the tree.
การถูกแยกจากพระเจ้า เปรียบภาพดังกิ่งไม้ที่หักและตกลงถึงพื้นดินไม่สามารถเป็นอันหนึ่งอันเดียวกันกับลำต้นอีกต่อไป เหมือนดังบาปของอาดัมและเอวาแยกพวกเขาออกจากพระเจ้า เช่นภาพกิ่งไม้ที่หักนั้น
Now you know, right? Those who fall into the deadly sin like Adam and Eve will be sentenced to the ultimate punishment. ตอนนี้คุณรู้แล้วใช่ไหม คนที่ตกในบาปมหันต์ อย่าง อาดัมและเอวา จะถูกพิพากษารับโทษขั้นสูงสุด
But, surely every sinner doesn’t want to go to hell forever. These God knew and God is kind to the sinners always. แต่แน่นอนว่าคนบาปทุกคนไม่ต้องการไปนรกตลอดไป พระเจ้าเหล่านี้ทรงทราบและทรงเมตตาต่อคนบาปเสมอ
Adam and Eve could not offer anything good enough to earn God’s forgiveness.[xxxi] อาดัมและเอวาไม่สามารถนำสิ่งที่ดีมากพอหรือสิ่งสมค่าต่อการชำระบาปมหันต์นั้นมาถวายต่อพระผู้เป็นเจ้าเพื่อพ้นจากการพิพากษาโทษของพระเจ้าได้
God doesn't want the sinners to be taken away to hell.[xxxii] พระเจ้าไม่ต้องการให้คนบาปถูกพรากตัดขาดไปสู่นรกชั่วกัปชั่วกัลป์
God hates sin but God loves the sinner. God wants us who are sinners to be in agape love with Himself again. พระเจ้าเกลียดความบาป (บาปมาจากซาตานชั่ว) แต่พระเจ้าทรงรักคนบาป (มนุษย์ที่พึ่งพาตัวเองไม่ได้และหลงเชื่อมารร้ายและทำบาปผิดลงไป) พระเจ้าต้องการให้เราซึ่งเป็นคนบาป ได้กลับคืนสู่รักในแบบ อากาเป้ ซึ่งเป็นของพระเจ้ากับมนุษย์แต่แรกเริ่มนั้น อีกครั้ง
God has a plan for both forgiving and punishing us who are sinners the same time (show His love and judge sin). พระเจ้าทรงมีแผนการทั้งการให้อภัยและการลงโทษเราในเวลาเดียวกัน (แสดงความรักเมตตาช่วยเหลือของพระองค์และแสดงความทรงยุติธรรมสูงสุดในการตัดสินบาป)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.[xxxiii] เพราะพระเจ้าทรงรักโลกมากจนทรงประทานพระบุตรองค์เดียวของพระองค์ เพื่อทุกคนที่เชื่อในพระองค์จะไม่พินาศแต่มีชีวิตนิรันดร์ เพราะพระเจ้าไม่ได้ส่งพระบุตรของพระองค์มาในโลกเพื่อประณามโลก แต่เพื่อช่วยโลกผ่านพระเยซูคริสต์พระบุตร
God sent His Son, Jesus, Who never did anything evil and never deserved any punishment, to suffer for us, to take our punishment that we deserved upon Himself and be a perfect sacrifice that God would accept and God would forgive our sins!
พระเจ้าส่งพระบุตรของพระองค์พระเยซูผู้ไม่เคยทำบาปและไม่สมควรได้รับการลงโทษใด ๆ เพื่อทนทุกข์ทรมานเพื่อเราเพื่อรับการลงโทษของเราที่เราสมควรได้รับจากพระองค์เองและเป็นการเสียสละที่สมบูรณ์แบบที่พระเจ้าจะยอมรับและพระเจ้าจะให้อภัยบาปของเรา!
Jesus did say that ONLY THROUGH JESUS, AND NO ONE ELSE, will God forgive our sins and we will have agape love relationship with God again.[xxxiv] พระเยซูตรัสว่า; การไถ่บาปโดยผ่านพระเยซูทางเดียวเท่านั้น ไม่มีใครอื่น ที่พระเจ้าสูงสุดแท้จริงพระองค์เดียว จะยอมรับการไถ่ให้อภัยบาปของเราและเป็นทางเดียวที่เราจะกลับคืนสัมพันธ์ความรักของพระองค์ (อากาเป้) กับพระเจ้าอีกครั้ง
This is God’s command to us: we must understand that Jesus is the only way through which God forgives our sins. We had witness testimonies at the time, gave statements and recorded them. God promises if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved[xxxvii] meaning you will not go to hell but be alive and perfectly happy with Him forevermore. พระเจ้าสัญญาไว้ ถ้าคุณเชื่อด้วยใจและรับด้วยปากของตัวคุณเองว่าพระเยซูเป็นพระเจ้าและฟื้นขึ้นมาจากความตายคุณจะได้รับความรอดซึ่งหมายความว่าคุณจะไม่ไปนรก แต่มีชีวิตอยู่และมีความสุขอย่างสมบูรณ์กับพระองค์ตลอดไป
Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.”
พระเยซูตรัสว่า "แท้จริงเรากล่าวแก่เจ้าว่า ใครก็ตามที่ได้ยินถ้อยคําของเราและเชื่อว่าองค์พระเจ้าใหญ่ยิ่งสูงสุด พระองค์ผู้ทรงใช้เรามาเพื่อมีชีวิตนิรันดร์ ไม่ได้เข้ามาตัดสินโลก แต่ได้มาเพื่อนำการไถ่บาป นำโลกให้ผ่านพ้นจากความตายไปสู่การรอดชีวิต"
So now you see why Christmas is a joyful celebration to all of mankind.
